Adaptive and Senior Fitness in The Quad Cities at CASI – All Strong Fitness

All Strong Fitness is taking today to highlight it’s connection and fitness opportunities at the Center for Active Seniors Inc. in Davenport, Iowa. All Strong Fitness has been teaching both Chair Yoga and Step Into Balance class to seniors of all abilities at CASI for the past year.

After CASI reopened last March, All Strong Fitness reached out in hopes to offer inclusive fitness classes to seniors, and help increase membership after the COVID-19 shut down. Since then, membership has been steadily climbing, and members have been enjoying both Chair Yoga and Step Into Balance. If you are interested in trying out a class, Step Into Balance is 1 PM, and Chair Yoga is at 2 PM, both on Tuesdays.

All Strong Fitness has also hosted numerous free opportunities to increase exercise participation at CASI, including an “introduction to the fitness center” day, and a “bring a friend to class” day. This has created a sense of community among the consistent exercisers, and also opened up new fitness opportunities to different individuals. In addition, All Strong Fitness has has brought the community closer by celebrating holidays with treats and gift bags for the class participants,

Moving into April, All Strong Fitness will be hosting another fitness center introduction date on April 18th at 12:30 p.m., and a Balance Clinic an April 20th at 1:00 p.m. Both of the events are $3 to participate in. Registration for these events can be done at the CASI front desk. If you aren’t a member of CASI, you’re in luck! Membership is still free through June for anyone wanting to try out the center.

We are proud to be able to provide inclusive exercise classes to some of the local seniors in the Quad Cities at CASI, and look forward to meeting more individuals in the future!
